Happy Feet Helps These Students Take Steps Toward Their Future

Rotary Club of Rancho Cucamonga recently hosted its much-anticipated annual event, “Happy Feet.” With the mission to bring smiles to the faces of children and alleviate some of the burdens that families may face, the Rotary Club partnered with local organizations to provide new shoes, socks, and essential school supplies to 65 children in need within the community. This event not only ensures that children have proper footwear but also sets them up for success in the upcoming school year.

Celebrating Community & Fellowship: Highlights from the RC Rotary Signature Track Meet

The Rotary Club of Rancho Cucamonga partnered with Alta Loma High School to put on its “Signature” Track Meet on Saturday, April 8, 2023!

We hosted just under 300 students in 4th, 5th and 6th Grades from the surrounding Alta Loma School District.

The Track Meet began with its traditional “Parade of Athletes” around the track, the playing of our National Anthem and the resounding cheers from parents, family and friends!

The athletes competed in a number of track events including running, jumping and relays. The excitement by the athletes was tremendous and definitely shared by their parents, friends and family!

All the athletes shared such a fellowship with each other and the teams they were competing with. The laughter, cheering and excitement was simply contagious by all the athletes!

The Rotary Club of Rancho Cucamonga and Alta Loma High School look forward to 2024’s “Signature” Track Meet!
